Story Of 2nd Inning ; Australia vs England 2nd ODI 2020.

ShahFaisal

Archer and Wokes turned the table on Australia with efficient bowling in mid innings.
The 2nd ODI between England and Australi might not be considered a close and nail-biting game after sometime, but it, surely, was a genuine ODI played by Best odi players, having relatively par sore on the board, with intellegent bowlers from both sides supported by demons in the pitch. It often happens that a low scoring game demands more wit from the captain regarding his bowlers circulations and field setting, and the bowlers have less space to exercise the innovation against batsman. All of this happened on the ground in the second innings when Australia came out to bat- chasing 232 against England.
It seemed quite clear that England were highly expecting from Archer to,both, take early wickets and also tame dynamic batsmen like Warner, Stoinis and Finch who can blow the wind out of oppositions' sails in no time. Archer did succeed in removing Warner and Stoinis , it wasn't just the wickets that he took , infact, it was the art of bowling displayed by Archer which should be admired. His ever rising bounchers were hard to pull, cut or leave and Both the Australians failed to do so. Warner couldn't keep his bat away while stoinis failed to keep it down. Finch also had his share but his attack kept him alive amoung the arching bounncers from Archer's bag.
Morgan's Captaincy; the center of victory.

Morgan was not a mear captain, he appeared to be a chieftan who knew how to defend his tribe by nominating his knights and placing them at gambling positions. Finch and Labuchange were looking to lock the game in Australia's favour, and a hundred runs partnership with Adil Rasheed failing drastically ,Morgan and England had less chance and even lesser hopes of any comeback. His premier bowlers had already bowled 10 overs between them and the rest were conventionally to be bowled in the later part of the innings. But Morgan went on to gamble the game in Bredon McCullum fashion and opted to lock the game before the 50th over. Let it be Australia scoring against Archer and wokes than winning easly against Rasheed and Curran. The Gamble paid off, Archer and wokes cashed 4 wickets in 10 overs. All of them masterfully bowled. There is no better sight to look at for a captain than watching bastmen failing to defend against his bowlers. Wokes and Archer bowled intellegent indipers and outgoing balls. Maxwell, Finch and Marsh got out to adorable deliveries ;all failing to defend on, both, frontfoot and backfoot.
Morgan succeeded in his plan and then it was upto Curran -Tom & Sam- and Rasheed to carry the momentum forward. Sam Curran kept the gates open and allowed wickets to come in as he claimed 3 wickets in no time. Economic bowling from Tom Curran made things difficult for Australia as his out-dippers kept Carry at bay and silent.
Carry unleashed his assault very late and had the game somehow in balance when he needed 25 to score of 9 balls. His overpassionate sweep sloging, against Rasheed's googly, cost him his wicket and with which went the game.
In the post match interview Morgan gave away all the credit to his bowlers, in reality, it is Morgan who deserve all the credit for his extensive use of mind and bravery in taking sharp decisions.
Archer the man to look for.
For England Archer has become the man to look to in any situation, he has already become the spear head of English, white ball, Fast bowling. And it appears that Morgan knows how to get the most out of him. Archer too, Enjoys his labour under Morgan as he once put that "He -Morgan- rearly says no to him". It is a brighter sight for Joe Root who is struggling to get the best  out of him on Test level.
Overall; The Second Odi has opened up alot about the on ground culture of English cricket and its captian. It showed that Archer is the  key that Captain Morgan wants to have in his hand. The last two odis have also revealed how much English cricket is dependant on Ben Stokes.  In both games , the spirit of  Ben stokes was missed substantially, in batting and bowling respectively. The series, so far, has discovered the need of
Stokes for captain Morgan.

Kohli And Babar Azam; What Baber should learn from Virat.

Babar Azam is enjoying his journey toward great batsmanship since the test series against New zealand in UAE-2018. His form, shape and technique is getting better with every game. His due greatness is evidant if he continues to play in his current fashion. Test cricket, still, is supposed to be his weaker link and his everge-52 in tests in 2018-19- shows how much effort he has put in to enhance his credibility as an established test bastman. His century- 104 runz- against Australia in Gabba  showed his worth and flair as a batsman and quick-self learner. In post match interview Babar conceded his undue shot selection and also discussed how that shot prompted him to play cautiously on merit which is haul mark of a great batsman.     However Baber isn't playing in an ordinary batsmen-dry era, his contemprories are the fab-fours -kholi, Smith, Williamson and Root- of whom everyone is the master of his own game and owner of his own ground.   Kholi is the best among ...

RECORD BREAKING ENGLAND: RECORDS MADE AND BROKEN IN FIRST ODI, ENGLAND VS NETHERLAND.

SHAH FAISAL England recorded the Highest Innings total in an ODI innings against the Netherlands in first ODI of the series between them on June 17,2022. In the wake of creating this record their batsmen recorded their own significant records in terms of runs while the team also managed to create other records.   Most Sixes in an Innings in ODI.   England had topped the record for most sixes in ODI innings of 25 sixes in an innings on June 18, 2019, they hit 25 sixes in their total of 397 against Afghanistan in Manchester. However, they broke that by hitting 26 against the Netherlands in the first ODI by hitting a total of 26 sixes with Buttler hitting the bulk of it with 14. Second-fastest Fifty and 150.  Two English batters; Buttler and Livingstone, scored the second-fastest 150 and 50 in international cricket respectively.  Buttler scored 150 in 65 balls; one ball slower than De Villiers's record on 64 balls. Livingstone, on the other hand, rue a golden ...

Why the ball is not swinging?

Since 2010 cricket has witnessed a constant decline in the swing of ball.  In this passing decade batting has become the dominanat  force and bowling has become just a service provider to batsmen.  The top bolwlers in the world currently are neither super tall and fast like Garner, Holding, Dennis Lilly , Akhter and Lee  nor they are supreme swing masters like Wasim ,Waqar, Mcgrath, Bond and Pollock. They are in the middle with no full strength in a single aspect like sheer Swing or raw pace.            Cummins, Starc, Boult , Bumrah ,  are bowlers who can swing a cricket ball with good speed , but their good speed is something which Shoaib or Lee would bowl at when not on top of their rhythm.  They bowl in the window of 140...147kmph which can be called good speed but not fast bowling, similarly they can swing the ball which is, almost, entirely  dependent upon the conditions. They can swing if the conditions allow t...
